The Sonicare Airfloss uses air and water/mouthwash to “blast” out food lurking between your teeth. It is not a substitute for flossing- so it doesn't get everything that string floss can get. But if you have a hard time flossing because of braces or dental work in your mouth it can help to reach those spaces that it might be hard to get floss into. And if you are kind of lazy or don't like the purple fingers and bits of food flicked from your mouth onto your shirt and mirror- using the Sonicare Airfloss is certainly better than not flossing at all.
